Finding its origins as Paul Mason Insurance on the 24th March 1992, the company has acquired a broad range of Brokers in its 21 year history. The Real Insurance Group was created as ‘Real Insurance Brokers’ in 1998 through a coming together of a number of separate businesses, namely Paul Mason Insurance and Major Insurance Consultants, from this period the business became solely targeted to commercial clients.

In 2004, Real Insurance Group joined what later became the BlueFin Group, one of the largest independent brokers in the UK. Owned by the AXA group, one of the world’s largest financial organisations, Bluefin employs over 1,500 people in over 45 offices throughout the UK.
In 2009, Real Insurance Group became the company it is today, incorporating the broad range of companies we have under our management.
