Banks service businesses and individuals, their function is to accept deposits and create credit. Banks act as payment agents by conducting current accounts for customers, paying cheques drawn by customers on the bank, and collecting cheques deposited to customers' current accounts. Usually, banks have physical high-street entities, with an online banking presence. Services offered by banks include ATMs, a branch (usually in a retail location or local location for small villages), call centre, internet banking service, mail service, mobile banking, relationship managers, telephone banking, video banking, and a Direct Selling Agent. Banks are used by small businesses, large businesses (including corporations) as well as individuals.
