IT support is a service, whereby, a provider offers users support with their information technology. Often this support network can be in-house via your IT department, but it can also be outsourced in the form of a consultant or a help desk. Usually, IT support is available as and when needed (often 24/7) and is used to solve specific problems a person, or company, may be having, rather than providing any training, qualifications or courses. IT support is available in a manner of ways – you can take your computer into store, call a help desk, chat with someone online, or have someone come to your premises and assesses the issue. IT support can be offered as part of the package when you buy new IT equipment, like a laptop. It is also a service offered to many companies to ensure their IT systems run smoothly without any glitches.
