Blow Moulding

Blow moulding is a process of manufacturing whereby hollow plastic parts are formed. It is a common process used in the formation of glass bottles. There are three types of blow moulding including injection blow moulding, injection stretch blow moulding and extrusion blow moulding. Blow moulded parts can be formed from Low-Density Polyethylene (LDPE), Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET), High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE), Polypropylene (PP) and Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC). Blow moulding is a process used by companies that manufacture glass bottles and jars of various shapes and sizes. Common products made by blow moulding include bottles for water, shampoo, conditioner, liquid soap, milk, oil, milk, tubs, plastic drums and storage tanks.
