Extrusion of Rubber
Extrusion is used to create objects that have a fixed cross-sectional profile. In rubber extrusion, rubber materials (EPDM, Nitrile, Natural rubber, and Neoprene) are pushed through a die to create complex cross-section rubber products that are straight or coiled. Profile types created by the process of rubber extrusion include 'D' section, Double 'D' section, 'U' channels, 'P' sections, Edging strips, Seal sections, Rubbing strips and Speed Restriction Strips. Rubber extrusions are used in marine applications, automotive, loading bays, fork-lift trucks, factory walls, cab tyre, rubber door seals plus, sealing products, marine, rubber extrusions, window rubber, sponge seals, channel edging stripes, and equine rubber matting.
