Electronic engineering

Electronic engineering is a sub division of the electrical engineering field and it deals with the implementation of applications and beliefs established in many related fields. This particular field of engineering uses non-linear and active electrical factors to create electronic devices and other systems. Although electric engineers and electronic engineers work in the same field and do similar jobs there is a slight difference. Electrical engineers focus mainly on power supplies whereas electronic engineers deal with the design of devices that use the electrical supply. Electronic engineers design and test circuits used in these electrical devices, for example inductors, transistors to ensure they achieve a particular function. The main industries for electronic engineers are IT, construction services, transport organisations and power supply companies. Companies and organisations where progress is vital to their existence and continued growth provide the perfect opportunities for electronic engineers as their expert knowledge and skills can continue to design and develop new devices and components.
