Mechanical Calibration

Mechanical calibration is the process of adjusting, verifying and diagnosing mechanical equipment. In mechanical calibration, mechanical weighing and measuring equipment is conformed to industry standards – with one standard being SO 17025 UKAS accreditation (used in the measurement of pressure). Equipment which is calibrated during the process of mechanical calibration includes force gauge calibration equipment, pull testers, load cells, scales, pressure transducers, Viscometers, vacuum testers, testing machine weighing devices and other mechanical equipment used to measure torque, tension and compression. Mechanical calibration is performed in a wide range of fields including in storage services, product shipping, medical services, food processing and electronics manufacturing.
