Recruitment Companies

Recruitment Companies act as the intermediary between the candidate and the organisation who is looking to fill a position within their organisation. The recruitment company will go through all applications and identify the candidates with the suitable skills and best fit for the company. There are several types of recruitment companies that cover a whole range of skills and jobs. Contingency based agencies, or employment agencies, select candidates that look at a company’s requirements for a vacancy and select candidates with the suitable skills for this position. Retained search agencies will normally handle senior level positions. Temp Agencies normally deal with short term vacancies that are required for only a short period of time, due to seasonal changes, maternity leave etc. Niche Recruiting Agencies are responsible for finding candidates with specific skills and who are specialised in a certain area, electronic agencies for example. Any organisation with a vacant position may use a recruitment company due to the high level of varied and wide diverse candidates that these companies can find and offer. Recruitment companies search for these candidates and look for those with the right qualifications for the position and who will be the best fit for the organisation. Individual organisations search for people when a vacancy arises, whereas recruitment companies continuously look for candidates.
