CCTV Services

CCTV, short for Closed Circuit Television, is mainly used for surveillance and security purposes. This is a closed and private TV network where images are displayed and recorded but are not publicly available. CCTV cameras are placed in specific areas to monitor individual areas. There are various types of CCTV and all are designed for different purposes. The bullet camera is designed to monitor images in a fixed area. The dome camera is normally used for store security as it warns people that CCTV is in use and gives reassurance to the owners. Infrared cameras are used for night monitoring whereas varifocal cameras can zoom in and out without losing focus on the image. Other types of CCTV camera include network cameras, high definition cameras and wireless cameras. Network cameras allow images to be shown through the internet and may be used in streets or public areas. High definition cameras are normally used in areas with a high risk as it has a high-resolution lens that allows finer details of the images to be transmitted. Different places and organisations use different types of camera dependent on what they want to monitor and many use the sight of the CCTV camera to warn people that the area is being captured on camera.
