The card parking system works similar to the ticket parking system, however, the driver receives a card rather than a ticket. Auto pay systems and RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) systems are also another good source of parking management. Auto pay systems are more commonly used in larger public areas, for example shopping malls, as they are less expensive to install and implement and are more cost effective to the customer. RFID systems are commonly used in high traffic zones, for example tunnels, where the vehicle has a tag and the RFID reader reads the tag as the vehicle passes through.
