With our extensive industry experience in the manufacture of clear PET cartons and boxes, we have created many durable and eye-catching solutions. The use of recycled clear plastic PET (RPET) allows us to create designs with extraordinary visual appeal that stand out in a retail or other display environment. Improvements in recent years of the quality of recycled PET means that we now use recycled material for all of our cartons and windows, these finished products are also fully recyclable. RPET conforms to the EC directive on packaging and packaging waste which states that all packaging must be recoverable. Shelf impact clear plastic cartons can give you excellent visibility whilst still offering good protection. Our transparent boxes produce packs that present and promote your products to their full potential in the cosmetics, giftware, food & drink, confectionary and promotional packaging markets. Our packaging material is all PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate). Because of the recyclability of PET and the relative abundance of post-consumer waste in the form of bottles, PET is the number one choice. We use only recycled PET (RPET) to produce our clear plastic packaging. The packaging has a minimum of 60% post-consumer waste and it is also fully recyclable after use. In addition, 100% of our factory waste is recycled. Widely used within the retail packaging marketplace our cartons can be supplied in many forms. As customer products come in a variety of shapes and sizes it is sometimes necessary to restrict their movement within the pack for safe transportation. Plinths and inserts are then used. These can be made in the same clear plastic to match the outer RPET carton or the addition of cardboard printed inserts which, can visually help to promote the products and secure its position. In some designs it may be possible to make the RPET insert as an integral part of the carton. The clear plastic cartons and inserts are supplied flat ready to be made up by the packing team.

All of our clear plastic packaging is manufactured from materials that contain a minimum of 70% recycled content, of which a minimum 60% is post-consumer waste and all finished products are 100% recyclable. We recycle 100% of our in-house production waste, returning our off cuts to our material suppliers, who then re-ground this waste and add it back into their production. Widely used within the retail marketplace, our clear packaging can be supplied with plain or printed cardboard die cut inserts or even vacuum formed inserts to firmly locate the product. We have first rate sampling facilities where we develop, design and make up prototypes for approval before manufacture to ensure a seamless, rapid service even on small run orders.

Diameters available from 50 mm to 200 mm and any length to suit your product. We recommend a Transparent Beaded Tube when you need a stronger pack. We bead both ends to add stability and strength whilst maintaining the transparency of the overall pack aiding and increasing speed of packing. Our Clear Plastic Tubes are available with transparent glued on base and loose lid, alternatively with a cardboard base and transparent lid, adding further stability to the packaging. They can be printed silkscreen, litho, flexo or gravure. Manufactured to direct food contact standards (if required). Plastic used for packaging such as plastic bottles is processed for reuse back into consumer packaging applications without compromising manufacturing efficiencies or product performance. The RPET that 1ST Packaging uses in the manufacture of its clear cartons has a minimum of 70% post-consumer waste and has excellent clarity. It can be printed to a high quality and also foil blocked. RPET has a lower carbon footprint than virgin material and can itself be recycled.

Cartons can be made for direct and indirect food contact; we have a huge variety of design options to suit your needs. Standard tuck in end cartons give simplicity of packing for your product. D-lock (butterfly locking) for securely locking the carton, making the carton tamper-proof. Crash lock base is ideal for larger quantities where speed of packing is essential. The base is fully erected when the carton is still folded. Pillow pack is a cost-effective, unusual, shape once packed. It can easily be adapted to include a euro hanger. We can also produce Polypropylene Boxes.
