A & R Slater supply the construction, mining and agricultural industry; we supply new and used equipment for sale and for hire in Matlock. With more than 15 years’ experience in construction and particularly in the delivery of ground work projects. We pride ourselves as being one of the best in the business. We complete all work to a very high standard, our portfolio of work includes a 12 month wind farm project, house extensions, quarrying, horse ménage, woodland and forestry work and all types of excavations for agricultural buildings + muck storage systems. Our groundwork and construction contracts have been widely sought by domestic, commercial and industrial clients across Derbyshire, Staffordshire and Nottinghamshire counties.
A & R Slater has been involved with Plant Hire and Sales for more than 20 years in Matlock. As a consequence of servicing and maintaining our own large fleet we branched out some years ago to offer our expertise to the wider market. We have two large sites with industrial scale workshops designed to house the largest of HGV, agricultural and plant machinery from which we can offer: Vehicle and industrial equipment painting, Sandblasting, welding and fabrication, Servicing, repairs and general maintenance.
