    Barkvall System 3400 Automatic Diamond Bead Spreading of 1-Component Adhesives

    System 3400 is designed for automatic dispensing of one part medium viscosity adhesives and resins for manufacturing of sandwich panels. The system pumps and spreads the adhesive evenly in a diamond pattern over the substrate surface improving the quality of the final product, simplifying production and improving the working environment.

    System 3400 can be made either in a fixed or mobile configuration. In the fixed configuration the material is moved on a conveyor underneath the adhesive spreader and in mobile configuration the spreader rolls on rails on top of the conveyor or lay-up table. The system can be used for both for stand alone panel manufacturing or in continuous panel bonding production lines. Selection of configuration type depends on product, manufacturing process, speed required, adhesive and press time.

    The machine system is automatic meaning it will start and stop at the panel edges, the dispensing speed is automatically adjusted to panel width, adhesive flow and coat weight. The machine is easily controlled at the operator panel with recipe handling of process parameters and panel dimensions. The system performs the spreading sequence with by pressing the start button. The system can also be integrated into a present process line and superior control system.

    The system is suitable for industrial production of sandwich panels with skin material of steel, wood or plastic, and core material of plaster, rockwool, EPS, PEX etc. Suitable for products such as doors building elements, facade panels, etc.

    The system can be equipped with massflow metering system or viscosity compensator system for enhanced adhesive quality control.

    There are three different variations of the 1 part manual Gluing systems and one semi-automatic gluing system, each with different ranges of capacity which all offer:-

    • Strong robust pumping system. 
    • Low maintenance design. 
    • Spreader for optimum adhesive beading.
    • Protective fluid storage box to prevent spreader curing during downtime. 
    • Available with optional trolley.

    These systems are suitable for pumping and spreading many different types of adhesives such as Polyurethanes, PVA, PVC and Silicones.

    • The 1K_M is our entry level model for the pumping and spreading of 1-component adhesives. It is very easy to set-up, run and maintain and can run up to 3 litres a minute.
    • The 1K_MHC is the next step up for 1 part dipensing equipment offering a higher capacity of up to 6 Litres a minute. It is again very easy to set up, run and maintain, and can be supplied with either drums or an IBC.

    •  he 1K_MHV is designed for dispensing or spreading high viscosity (paste) Adhesives as well as Silicone's with a capacity of up to 3 Litres a minute. 
      This system uses a pressure plate extrusion system to force the product into a high capacity pump which can then dispense into a nozzle or spreader.

    System 3200 SS is a stainless steel configuration that can operate with aggressive materials where other machine systems fail. It is designed for measuring, mixing and dispensing two component materials such as carbamide, resorcinol, melamine, resins and PEI adhesives for applications within the wood industry. 

    System 3200 is designed for metering, mixing and dispensing of low, medium and high viscosity two component adhesives and resins. Compatible materials including epoxy, polyurethane and silicone for use in industrial applications such as sandwich panel manufacturing, electronic castings and sealing.

    System 3200 improves the quality of the final product, simplifies production, and simplifies the handling of adhesive/curing agents during the manufacturing  process whilst improving the working environment. The system automatically measures the adhesive components and ensures an accurate and homogeneous mixture. Components are dosed under pressure to eliminate air entrapment.

    The complete System 3200 includes hoses, mixer gun with a static disposable mixing tube, nozzle and spreaders. The machine can be assembled with an automatic electronic shot system including a precision handling program if desired. System 3200 is ideal for precision adhesive dispensing for electronic equipment, wide string spreading on sandwich panel elements, and sealant applications.

    The metering unit in System 3200 is comprised of two linked 2 part ratio control displacement pistons. The mixing ratio between base and hardener is fixed but can be customized with different piston sizes. The system is double acting and gives an even and continuous material flow. The mixing gun is drip free and can be supplied with a handle, foot control or photo sensor control.

    The 380mL coaxial cartridge has a centre tube that contains one material and an outer “doughnut” that contains a second material in a 10:1 ratio.

    Barkvall System 3600 3K 3 Component Adhesive Application System for the Manufacture of Large Panels

     

    System 3600 is designed for automatic dispensing of three component medium viscosity adhesives and resins. The system is suitable for sandwich panel industrial production such as truck bodies, mobile chassis, caravans, SIPS, Modular Homes and more. Where an even and accurate adhesive spreading is required, System 3600 improves the quality of the final product, simplifies production and improves the working environment.
    Three Component Adhesive Systems are designed specifically to reduce press times, this is achieved by metering and mixing two base adhesives at varying ratios from 100:0 and 0:100, this is managed by its precise measuring systems, flow controls and ratio temperature compensation system.

    The machine works automatically on wheel tracks along a multiple of vacuum tables. The machine is easy to control with the operator panel. To set the panel size, locate the laser pointer to the panel corner and push start button. 

    The complete system also includes two system 3200 meter units and mixer gun with static disposable mixing tubes and spreader bar. Base and hardener pumps can be placed a long distance from the machine which simplifies the adhesive container or drum handling.

    The meter units in System 3600 contains two displacement pistons each, which are mechanically linked together and the mixing ratio is fixed between base and hardener. Massflow meter units for base and hardener can be used control mixing ratio and coat weight.
