Alfagomma & Rise Against Hunger

“Tutto comincia da un pasto” (everything starts with a meal) is the initiative promoted by Alfagomma, in collaboration with Rise Against Hunger Italia, a non-profit organization committed to fighting against world hunger.
This fundraising initiative, which took place during the Christmas period, consisted in the packaging of kits of essential food items to be distributed to local organizations in Italy in support of those in need.
Alfagomma employees had the opportunity to actively take part in the packaging process of more than 670 food kits, while promoting sharing and teambuilding for a stronger community.
With this activity, Alfagomma will reach eight of the seventeen Sustainable Developments Goals (SDGs) established by the UN, to name some: no poverty, zero hunger, reduced inequalities, decent work and economic growth.
