Armax / Mobility Engineering
Mobility Engineering (Cheshire) Limited have been designing and manufacturing conveyors and conveyor systems for over 30 years, supporting industry and suppliers with a comprehensive and quality range of conveyors and conveyor systems.
We design and manufacture all types of ground operating conveyors (we do not produce overhead/monorail systems), for standard, as well as bespoke applications.
Mobility Engineering design, manufacture and supply both standard and bespoke roller conveyors, which can cater for any roller application or industry. The term roller conveyor literally refers to a series of rollers contained within a frame, adapted to the required length, width and height.
There are three distinct roller divisions: Gravity Roller Conveyors, Lineshaft Powered Roller Conveyors & Chain Driven Powered Roller Conveyors (commonly referred to as pallet conveyors).
Chain Conveyors are predominantly used for either very heavy loads, very wide and awkward loads, or where the base is not suitable (not flat or firm - product/pallet/stillages may have feet underneath) to be handled on rollers.
Instances where chain conveyors are used include: Automotive handling (where clients are moving large and awkward automotive parts, car bodies, chassis, trucks, etc), Industrial (radiators and other products which are particularly wide or heavy).
Standard Belt Conveyors are generally used on assembly/packing lines, or in clean areas such as the food and pharmaceutical industries. Belt conveyors will utilise either PVC/PU (smooth or gripped) or Modular (plastic) depending on the application.
The belt is the essential ingredient for all belt conveyors and they come in various shapes and forms.
