Billington Safety Systems manufactures and installs acoustic enclosures that are complete noise control solutions for a range of industries. Our Sound Enclosures are designed for noise absorption, reverberation control and machine ventilation, the acoustic enclosure are cost-effectively designed to meet with most demanding of customer’s noise specifications. We have experience in the design and manufacture of bespoke noise control solutions and also manufacture sound proofing enclosures, acoustic booths, acoustic panels and attenuation systems. Billington Safety Systems have noise control engineers who offer consultancy on all industrial noise issues and can conduct noise surveys and impact reports using the latest Pulsar instruments technology. The Enclosures can be manufactured in a range of panel thickness and produced using Rockwool and Acoustic mesh to achieve the required decibel reduction. In some cases, alternative foam based acoustic material is used. The thickness of the enclosure walls, roof and doors will depend on the current noise levels, the higher the level the thick the material. The enclosures can be supplied with Attenuated air intakes, powered doors, hinged doors, sliding doors lights and fans depending on the application and customer requirements The wall of the can be manufactured from Stainless steel, Aluminium or mild steel powder coated for either indoor or outdoor use We provide an Installation and fitting service on all our acoustic enclosures.

Our Aluminium Profile Guarding is a flexible and stable fencing system which is easy to install. It utilises a minimum of specially designed parts, with a design concept that keeps installation and modifications simple and related costs low. Aluminium profiles form the frame of the system and come in various cross-sections and, together with different shaped pre-mounted brackets, fit together easily and quickly.

The Anti-Collapse System represents a simple yet cost effective method of avoiding many accidents in the storage and handling of pallets in and on racking systems. The framed mesh system is mounted on brackets, which are designed to fit most types of racking systems. The brackets are 100mm and 250mm in length, other sizes can be manufactured to your requirements. The mesh panels are available in Galvanised material but RAL colours can be supplied to order. The Anti-Collapse brackets are manufactured from 3mm material, formed and in powder coated finished material to match the mesh this then creates a sturdy base to mount the mesh panels on. All nuts and bolts are manufactured from BZP. The brackets attach directly to most types of Pallet Racking. The mesh can be fitted to a new installation or to existing Pallet Racking. The Anti Collapse mesh is used where the racking runs along walkways or pedestrian areas, and helps protect these from falling objects.

As well as the standard modular safety fencing and machine guarding systems, Billington Safety Systems can also design and manufacture bespoke guarding and guarding enclosures to go around most types of machines.

Our double skin steel partition system gives a smooth finish to both sides of the partition, with minimal joints, ideally suited to works offices, clean rooms and storage areas for chemicals and food products The system can be designed to work as security areas & factory dividing walls where people require alternative access. The panels sit directly into a floor channel, the floor channel is secured to the floor before you can erect the partitioning, the panels are slotted in the floor channel, a header channel is also fitted to give the systems extra support and strength. The system is quick and easy to construct and comes standard with high performance single, double doors and hospital type door sets. Doors can be supplied with single or double glazed vision panels or flush i.e. no vision panel. Panels are constructed steel sheets with a 50mm high density Rockwool slab infill. Panels are connected to each other by means of an internal section making the installation very quick and simple. The internal panel connection offers additional rigidity and a wire way facility. The panels are supplied as either all solid with no windows, single glazed, double glazed and also with flush double glazing on the inside and out.

Billington Safety Systems design and manufacture access gantries, work platforms and staging to go round and over you machines. Due the nature of the machine and the wide variety of applications these are all specifically designed to the customer’s needs. The platforms allow safe access to and from areas these can also be incorporated into the guarding system around the machine, giving designated safe routes through the work area. All the access platforms we design, manufacture and install are fully compliant to current standards. When designing the access platforms, we look at what the customer is looking to achieve, the environment the access platform is going into and the usage of the platform, from this then we can pick the best materials to do the job. We can manufacture the access platform from a wide variety of materials such as stainless steel, Aluminium, Hot dip galvanised or mild still powder coated for indoor or outdoor use. A full installation service is available on all our access platforms and staging.
