Blackbridge Communications is and agency that helps our clients attract and engage talent. We work with a variety of organisations, ranging from FTSE 100 companies to charities.

Our proposition is three fold. We assist clients with attraction, to help recruit the highest calibre of employee. Enagagement, using communication to drive high levels of performance and communication solutions, such as research, design, and digital solutions.

We can build brands for big employers (such as multinationals) or mini ones (such as parts of organisations, or start-ups.) But whatever the project, the key deliverable is a message set that will do great things to your hiring metrics – the closest thing recruitment has to a silver bullet.

Creative Development

We have an integrated creative team, meaning that our writers, art directors, online designers and coders all sit together and spark ideas. There’s a varied skillset here too, which means when we need a web designer to click with your digital team, we’ve got one, and when you need a creative who’s sufficiently business-savvy to present to your CEO, we’ve a handful of those, too.

As winners of the CIPD Recruitment Marketing Award for Best Website, we know how to create exceptional digital work. Our design and coding is generally all delivered in house and experience has made us proficient at working with digital guardians client-side.

Video

Our video work stretches from modest but finely-crafted pieces to bigger-budget spectaculars. (Our work for Thomas Cook has involved overseas shoots, stop-motion animation and casts of (almost) thousands.) The key to producing great work at either end of the financial spectrum is, we believe, exceptional brief-taking and writing.

Engagement Strategy

We plan ongoing communications, which typically stem from comprehensive research at the outset. Typically, we start with organisational strategy to understand how best to use it as an engagement tool. Thereafter we work with the client to understand how the campaign can be rolled out- we understand that digital solutions often on the answer. We've worked with retailers and manufacturers long enough to know that, if people aren't sat in front of a computer all day- sending an email is the last thing to do.

Organisational Strategy Articulation

Strategy is often seen as the preserve of the Directors. We see it differently. In our opinion it's an overlooked engagement tool which can be turned into a set of exemplary behaviours.

We can help your Directors pen the strategy itself. While not management consultants, we can assist with wording rather than content translating the strategy into a langauge that will inspire your people. We'll often use attention-grabbing formats; we've recently translated a strategy for a FTSE 100 division into a three-minute animation.

We bring a practised eye to the vision and values development process, facilitating research and crafting that all-important final articulation.

Internal Communications

We’ve got the intellect and the experience to work with your Board on big internal communication or change programmes. We’ve also got the depth of talent to partner ground-level practitioners on smaller projects such as leaflet production, e-mail surveys and team meeting design.

We make sure we understand the commercial requirement behind the question so we can match the task with the right personnel and methodologies. Some of our methods are old school, such as focus groups, whilst others are cutting-edge, such as Social Media-based insight programmes
