Our innovative and advanced technology relates to the development, design and engineering of powder processing equipment and systems for the manufacture of powders and products in granular or agglomerated form.   We offer a complete and cost-effective range of particle size reduction equipment. Our services include spiral flow jet mills, opposed jet mills, impact mills, and ball mills, as well as air classifiers, and sieving, mixing, and drying equipment from R&D scale through to large industrial plants.

Process Equipment - Spares and Maintenance

Our process equipment - spare parts and maintenance division provides a world-class after-sales service to help protect investment in plant and equipment. In addition to supplying spare and replacement parts, we provide lifetime support for all British Rema and other related equipment, whether for a small, specialist, laboratory-scale microniser, or a major industrial plant.

Our spares and maintenance team carry various standard wear parts for current models. They can be provided for next-day delivery and larger parts and replacement sections can be manufactured specially to order. The most common replacement parts are for size reduction, classification, mixing and drying equipment such as anti-abrasive linings, belts, precision bearings, carrier and retaining rings, dust blades, fines, inlet and cone sections, filters, headgear, motors, rotors, rotor blades, screens and meshes, spiders, stators, top plates, and Venturi jets.

We also offer a wide range of specialist spares for ball mills including diaphragms, grates and screens, lifters, liner and grinding plates, lining refurbishments, mill shells, trunnion bearings, drive and gear components, feeders, discharge hoppers, and ductwork. Consumable items such as grinding media are also available. 

On-Site Plant Maintenance

Working in combination with sister operation, Phillips Kiln Services (Europe) Ltd, our experienced mechanical maintenance engineers provide international coverage for the service, maintenance and repair of both British Rema-branded and OEM equipment.  Work is carried out on-site at customer’s premises, or off-site, in our own well-equipped workshops.

In addition to the repair and maintenance of ball mills and associated process plant, our services extend to a wide range of tyre-supported thermal and cold rotary equipment such as kilns, coolers and dryers and incinerators. As experts in thermal equipment design and engineering, we have developed innovative equipment, and perfected methods and work practices to extend vessel life and maintain optimum mechanical performance and help avoid failure, reduce power consumption and decrease operating costs.

Wherever possible we attempt to repair, optimise and extend equipment life by monitoring and controlling temperature, vibration, air supply, machine performance, and energy consumption. Equipment inspections, reviews of operating procedures and assessments of wear and mechanical condition can be carried out upon request.
