Glamping is becoming a very popular way to camp across the UK (because who really wants to sleep outside in a tent in UK weather?!). With the cost of holidays abroad increasing, and less certainty when booking abroad, UK holidays are on the rise again. These glamping pods would make a perfect holiday home for those opting to stay in the UK over summer.

Our glamping pods could also be a great help to start up a new business, as Airbnb hosts or creating a glamping pod camp site. These pods aren’t limited to only glamping use, they have also proven popular as garden offices/rooms, log cabins and unique Airbnb stays.

These are not made from shipping containers, but are made to order in the UK by one of our office suppliers. these are high quality, UK built products from a trusted supplier. As these are all made to order you can have a high degree of customisation within this build allowing you to change the layout and spec to meet your own needs.

Standard / Basic spec for our Glamping Pods

Our glamping pods are completely customisable, so if you require something specific for your project, please get in touch with our helpful team and we will try our best to achieve it for you.

The pods we have in the photos were built to customer specifications for a holiday park in Northern Ireland.

These pods are made from a timber frame and externally cladded in pressure-treated natural timber. The rooves were made from a stone coated steel shingle. A double glazed window and French doors were installed in each pod, with black out privacy blinds. The base of the units are made from galvanised steel with forklift pockets for easy loading and unloading. The pods were also built with external slip-resistant decking – a perfect seating area for soaking up the sun!

These pods are insulated and internally clad with timber, with a ‘oak’ laminate flooring. Electrics were fitted with weatherproofed mains sockets and connection points, and 4 power sockets inside. The pods also had LED mounted spot lights fitted along with an external porch light.

These pods also came fitted with a timber sleeping area which covered the full width of the cabin, and a single timber bed/seating area. A small work top was also fitted with space for a mini fridge underneath, and kitchen facilities on top.

The holiday park also had electric heaters fitted to the worktop, along with providing a wall mounted TV,  pull out wardrobe rail, mini fridge, and kitchen facilities in each of their glamping pods. These pods definitely provide their visitors with a incredibly cosy, enjoyable and useable space for their holidays.

Every customer has different needs and a different setup for their site. We can build these glamping pods with a wide range of features to suit your needs. If you need longer pods with more internal space this is very possible (we suggest smaller pods aren’t going to offer a very significant saving), so weather you want this for guests to sleep in at your glamping site, or for use as you own personal office in your garden, or as a showroom for your business, or even a beach bar or food service unit we can modify and covert the internal space to suit your needs.
