C-Mech Services Ltd
Established in 1974, we provide industrial door maintenance and repair across the South East and London 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
We offer the same reliable and high quality service whether you have only one door or when working as the single contractor providing repair, service and refurbishment work to large sites with a mixture of various door and shutter types.
Our industrial door maintenance and repair services cater for roller shutters, sectional doors, high speed doors, folding shutters, steel doors, fire shutters, fire exit doors, and loading bay equipment. We repair doors and shutters manufactured by Crawford, Stertil, Stokvis, Sara, Hart, Easilift, Kaba, and Rolflex.
Our services cover a wide area of the South East including Kent, Sussex, Essex, Surrey, Maidstone, Ashford, Folkestone, Paddock Wood, Canterbury, Whitstable, Herne Bay, Dover, Rochester, Dartford, Northfleet, Erith, Ramsgate, Margate, Gravesend, and Medway. Our clients include Balfour Beatty, EDF Energy, Loomis, Mears, Babcock, and Mack Multiples.
We repair, replace and install loading bay safety gates and doors, dock bumpers, dock shelters, and dock levellers.
Our loading bay installations include; the Calematic Automatic Wheel Chock System used to restrain vehicles backed on to a loading bay and reduce trailer creep. Benefits of this vehicle restraint system include that it is flush with floor level, reducing both the likelihood of damange to the system and it's potential as a trip hazard, it is fully automated, and it is unaffected by snow and ice.
Our range of loading bay products also consists of dock levellers, dock bumpers, dock shelters, and dock ramps.
We are Enershield's air door distributor for the South East of England. The Enershield Air Barrier creates a virtual door by re-circulating ambient air and forcing it across an opening to create up to a 90 percent seal.
The seal separates the atmospheres on either side and stops the transfer of temperature, humidity, dust, odours, and insects. With just a draught of air creating the barrier, vehicles and pedestrians can pass without obstruction.
The air door should not be confused with a heated warm air curtain, whose primary design objective is to provide warmth at an open doorway. Traditionally a typical 5Kw air curtain will operate 8 hours per day, 5 days per week and will consume in excess of £1,000 of electricity per annum. Under the same conditions an Enershield air door will consume £60 of electricity per annum.

Our experienced engineers are very capable in carrying out repairs to all styles of doors, including fire and security doors and roller shutters all with mechanical workings.
The benefits of our repair service are a quicker, more personal response by an experienced and reputable family business, and as we cover the whole of the South Easy we are never far from your location if an emergency occurs. Our locality also means for the more serious repairs, such as a broken counterbalance spring, we can normally remove the barrel, re-spring it at our workshop and have you back up and running on the same day.
Our energy saving doors and solutions helps to reduce temperature loss and optimise traffic flow. These include Enershield air barriers, high speed doors, PVC strip curtains, crash doors, insulated sectional doors or insulated roller shutters.
High speed doors are designed for high frequency use and have good thermal properties. Insulated sectional doors and roller shutters also have excellent thermal qualities. PVC strip and crash curtains have an initial lower cost but a shorter life span.
We have been saving time and money for businesses like yours for over 30 years so please give us call and ask for an estimate of cost savings.
We carry out various different types of steelwork fabrications as well as mechanical repairs and maintenance including conveyor repairs and repairs on cladding and cappings, handrails, steel fire escapes, fencing, and vehicle barriers.
Our steelwork fabrication includes stainless steel welding and caters for customers in London and the surrounding South East area in places such as Kent, Sussex, Essex, and Surrey, along with many more.
Our dock leveller repair services include servicing and installation of all styles of loading bay equipment and mechanical and hydraulic dock levellers. We also repair and service dock bumpers, dock pads, and vehicle wheel guides.
We repair dock ramps and fixed, collapsible or inflatable dock shelters.
Our range of steel doors include personnel doors, escape doors, security doors, and fire resisting doors. From fire escape doors to sophisticated access controlled entry systems, steel doors are replacing traditional wooden doors in many applications.
With the advent of good quality, durable and attractive veneers and laminates the inherent benefits of steel are strength, security and durability, and these can be merged with the aesthetic design appeal of timber to offer doors that can protect from fire and theft whilst also withstanding day to day rigours use without rusting, warping or rotting, and also withstand infestation by vermin and insects.

Our industrial doors include sectional doors with insulated panels and all round seal with options for vision panels and push up operation.
High speed doors are automated for high frequency use and to help reduce temperature loss and optimise traffic flow. Roller shutters are a basic solution and cheaper to repair and include options such as insulated laths or wicket doors.
Our industrial doors also include steel doors for personnel use and provide additional security and a superior lifespan over wooden doors. Folding shutters are very strong, ideal for wide openings and have a flexible opening position. Flexible crash doors and PVC strip curtains are a basic way to reduce temperature loss.
