Air Operated Pumps

Air operated pumps are designed for transferring fluid from a drum, IBC or tanks, these pumps often come with different sizes of down tubes and with a follower plate if required.The air operated pump is most commonly used for the handling of oil, grease and lubricants in workshops, garages and plants.

Alongside pumping, these drum pumps can be used to circulate fluid. The barrel pumps are able to empty 99.98% of fluid. They can be purchased either with a follower plate for high viscosity fluids or as a standard barrel pump.

Side Channel Pumps are a popular choice where low flow/ high head applications for clean fluids are handled. Also known as liquid ring pumps they are capable of dealing with both liquids and gases. Due to its self priming properties a side channel pump functions like a displacement pump. However, once the side channels are filled, it begins to operate like a centrifugal pump.

Split Casing Pumps have a double suction impeller supported between bearings and are from the single stage centrifugal family. They can be purchased in either a vertical or horizontal option, depending upon the orientation of the impeller.

Ideal for transferring medium viscosity oils, lubricants and fuels at high levels, vane pumps are from the positive displacement pump family.Vane pumps are also a solution for low viscosity fuels such as alcohol, chemical, fuels and solvents. Most vane pump designs are direct drive meaning that their efficiency is not compromised by gears or transmissions.

Vertical Immersion Pumps

Vertical immersion pumps are centrifugal pumps which are vertically immersed and are perfect for the handling of water and other thin fuels. When needing to pump from an underground well, a reservoir or river, or in applications where the liquid is a high temperature that would not enable a traditional submersible pump to be used, a vertical immersion pump would be an ideal solution.
