  1. Rear D Harness - RGHE

    Rear D Harness - RGHE
Similar to the RGH1, this RGHE is a basic access harness fitted with a rear dee only, but without the additional adjustment on the shoulder straps. This harness is used primarily with a fall arrest lanyard (i.e. RGL1), to provide an operative with basic fall protection. When used in conjunction with a¿ twin leg lanyard¿ (RGL3), the harness can be used for tower climbing, scaffold and general steel erecting, as the twin leg lanyard would provide continuous attachment through ¿double clipping¿. As with all of the RidgeGear harnesses, the RGHE is suitable for use with fall arrest blocks, however we recommend the addition of the RGL4 extension strop to facilitate easy connection.
  2. Rescue Winch

    Rescue Winch
The RGR7 is fitted with an up/down clutch locking mechanism. Manufactured from steel with a baked enamel finish, the RGR7 has a 50cm per handle turn allowing for rapid retrieving/lowering of cable. This unit has many applications such as confined space entry, manholes and chemical vessels, etc. The operative can be winched up or down to safety almost immediately. As most rescue systems lower the casualty, the RGR7 can raise the operative to safe area, if the area below is unsuitable. The RGR7 is most commonly fitted to the RGR1 tripod for use in the confined access industry, as it can lower a worker into an area where no ladders are fitted.
  3. Rope Pole Strap

    Rope Pole Strap
The RGP1 is a pole strap/work-positioning device, designed to be clipped to the side dees of a harness or work-positioning belt. The adjuster is easy to use ¿one handed¿ either under tension or not. The 16mm hard lay rope is additionally protected by a cordura sleeve in the work area, to offer some protection against abrasion and extend the life of the product. The 2m length of the RGP1 allows the user enough freedom of movement, without being exposed to a fall. The RGP1 can be used for pole climbing, but excels when used for mast climbing and maintenance and general work on open steel structures. Once the structure is climbed, the user can attach the RGP1, adjusting it to the required length. The operative can then use both hands to perform tasks whilst in a safe and comfortable position. This device is normally used in conjunction with an RGH3 or RGH4, which allows for the attachment of additional fall arrest equipment.
  4. Scaffold Hook

    Scaffold Hook
The large gate opening of the RGK 5, make it ideal for use in industrial areas. The use of this karabiner often negates the use of a sling as it can connect directly to steelwork. Often fitted to double lanyards for climbing masts and steel structures. This karabiner is fitted with a twistlock closure.
  5. Shock Absorber

    Shock Absorber
The RGL7 is similar to the standard shock pack, which is fitted to all of the RidgeGear fall arrest lanyards. When supplied as an individual unit, the RGL7 is fitted with RGK12 delta links at both ends. The maximum extension of the RGL7 is 1.75M when fully deployed, and this unit is also fitted with a ¿back up¿ length of webbing for reassured strength and security. The transparent protective sleeve covering the unit, allows the user to visually inspect the condition of the RGL7 prior to each use.
  6. Side / Rear D Harness - RGH3

    Side / Rear D Harness - RGH3
The RGH3 combines the basic fall arrest harness with a comfortable work-positioning belt in one unit. The harness is fitted with a rear dee and two side dee rings mounted to the belt and can be used similar to the RGH1 (see data sheet). When fitted with a pole/work-positioning belt (RGP1&2), the harness can be used for pole climbing or work-positioning on open structures. In certain circumstances, the side dee¿s on the RGH3, can be used for work restraint in the horizontal plane. The wide belt fitted to the RGH3 is comfortable and provides lumbar support to the operative. The belt is also fitted with three gear loops for carrying tools leaving the hands free thus maintaining the required three points of contact when climbing.
  7. SIT Suspension & Work Positioning Harness - RGH8

SIT Suspension & Work Positioning Harness - RGH8
The RGH8 is a sit-suspension harness that was developed in conjunction with the arborist industry. Although this harness can be used for basic work positioning, its primary purpose is for tree surgery. Fitted with a stiffened seat pad and high waisted belt, this harness is comfortable for use during long periods of continued use. This harness has no fall arrest points, and the shoulder yoke may be removed if not required. The main securing buckle at the waist is a ¿push & twist¿ type, and once the harness has been adjusted for the individual, it can be removed and replaced quickly and easily. The harness itself is fully adjustable and the length of the suspension points may also be adjusted to facilitate different suspension positions.
  8. SKR 11mm Rope Grab

    SKR 11mm Rope Grab
The SKR 11mm rope grab is designed to provide vertical/inclined fall protection to operatives ascending /descending a ladder or structure. This version of the rope grab is for use with 11mm Kernmantel Rope Only. When used by itself, the RGA 12 should be connected directly to the chest attachment of a harness (CSH2/RGH2/RGH4), via a karabiner. This ensures that the operative is held close to the structure and in the event of a slip, the fall distance and loading on the top anchor is minimal. This unit is successfully used in the field for protection on portable ladders. In use it is recommended that slight tension is placed on the rope to aid movement, as with all highly flexible systems.
  9. Smartline Rescue Kit

    Smartline Rescue Kit
Smartline Rescue Kit strong.EN 341 Class .The smartline rescue kit is a personal - single use device, to descend by the user to safety or can be used to lower another person to safety.Available in a length of 15 Mtrs.Standard lengths for all systems are available as listed, other lengths are available to special order.Users of all rescue systems / kits should receive relevant training.
  10. Steel Cored Flipline

    Steel Cored Flipline
The CSP8 is a multi purpose work-positioning device, designed to be clipped to the side dees of a harness or work positioning belt or used independently. The CSP8 is used extensively by the Satellite & Aerial installation industry as a temporary anchorage for use with chimney stacks. The 'Chimney Strop' is looped and 'thrown' over the top of the stack. The length is easily adjusted by the zinc plated rope grab.
