    16 August 2016

Practical Basics of Vibration Shaker Testing - Tuesday, September 13th 2016

Advanced Vibration Shaker Testing - Wednesday, September 14th 2016

    Leicester, UK

£150 per day per delegate including, lunch, refreshments and full course notes.

in association with Data Physics UK Ltd

These seminars are now one of the most popular and well attended courses for all those involved in vibration shaker testing and environmental testing at engineering, design and management levels. Proven over many years the courses have attracted feedback such as:

'I have been to other vibration testing courses but none have ever made as much sense as the last 2 days'

'Perfect mix of theory and practical'

    'An excellent overview, thanks'

    'Much better than .......'

We have configured these 2 days as stand alone one day courses for those delegates that feel only one day suits them, however as a two day course it will provide an great insight to vibration shaker testing and its applications. With expert presenters and a high level of practical demonstration, these courses combine theory and practical testing methodology perfectly.

Day 1 - The primary aim of this seminar is to provide valuable practical information for engineers and managers to improve the understanding and application of Vibration Shaker testing in project and product programmes. Subjects Included are: Introduction and overview of Vibration Shaker testing and its equipment, methods and purpose; Shaker construction details, limits and uses; Accelerometer, selection, mounting, cabling and correct use, Common problems and errors when setting up shaker testing, best practice advice; Fixture Design; Sine, Random and Classical Shock Control; Practical demonstration of best practice and effects of bad set up

Day 2 - This seminar is well suited to current vibration test engineers, in addition to managers and other engineers who do not necessarily carry out these tests but may be involved in their specification or their subcontracting.
We will be covering: Mixed Mode, Time Replication, SRS Shock testing (Shock Response Spectra), How to rate a test system for these advanced test modes, Combined modes (vibration and temperature/humidity)

Both courses will take place in Leicester at the new conference venue College Court, providing an excellent central location with easy road, rail and air links.
