Piranha III Tungsten Grinder. This grinder is designed for maximum commercial use and includes a universal collet which will grind from .040.-3/16. The construction of the PIII unit is heavy solid steel and very user friendly. The Piranha III unit is also fully enclosed with a 90% containment of excess tungsten electrode dust. Piranha II tungsten grinder. This grinder is ideal for general shop usage. Ideal for 1-3 welders. It includes a universal collet, which will grind from .040-3/32. This unit is fully enclosed and will contain excess tungsten dust. Most commonly used non-radioactive tungsten. Offers long electrode life under heavy or pulsing amperage loads. It has the ability to resist thermal shock which provides the user with excellent ignition with a lower burn off rate. Wide range of sizes.

Recommended for short welding cycles on low-amp, DC orbital tube, pipe, thin sheet and small part applications. Provides low current and arc ignition with good arc stability. This tungsten is not recommended for higher applications. The oxides that are contained tend to migrate very quickly to the heat at the tip of the electrode. Wide range of sizes.

Most commonly used non-radioactive tungsten. Offers long electrode life under heavy or pulsing amperage loads. It has the ability to resist thermal shock which provides the user with excellent ignition with a lower burn off rate. Wide range of sizes.

This tungsten is used primarily in DC welding. It has a low work function and provides a high load and amperage capability. The health safety issue of 2% Thoriated tungsten has recently raised concerns regarding inhalation and disposal of the Thorium. Wide range of sizes.

Cryogenically treated thoriated tungsten which provides a more dense structure of the thoriated tungsten blend. Easier starting as compared to standard 2% Thoriated tungsten. Results include easier arc starts as well as extended tungsten life. Wide range of sizes.

Low current capacity. Recommended for use in AC welding of aluminum. Wide range of sizes.

Non-radioactive tungsten with similar performance as 2% Thoriated tungsten. Three oxides scientifically balanced to promote migration and evaporation rates that result in extended tungsten life. Offers stability and consistency not seen on most other types of tungsten. Results include, increase in weld quality and dramatic increase in service. Wide range of sizes.

Recommended for radiographic-quality welding. Best for application requires minimal tungsten contamination. Balls up easily with AC applications. Not recommended for DC. Wide range of sizes.
