Drallim had a catastrophic fire back in February 2019, the building and virtually all of its contents were lost. This is a video showing the initial devastation of the fire through to the re building of the factory on the original site, and us moving back to the newly built factory in October 2020. -

This video shows one our highly skilled members of staff here at Drallim, putting the finishing touches to the MC1 Storm lashing. Here Michael can be seen stitching the hook end onto the webbing at our UK manufacturing facility. The ultimate load of an MC1 is 4500lb (2041kg). The MC1 was initially designed to secure helicopters to ship’s flight decks. Historically this unit was chosen by the MOD because of its simplicity and its outstanding robust quality and has outlasted many other tensioning devices.
