Fast Heat Ltd
Our NEW Precision PLV Series of hot runner bushings follows on from the remarkable success of our Elite LV bushings.
The streamlined, self-purging flow channel design eliminates hang-ups and permits fast and easy colour changing. The moulding of temperature sensitive polymers is made simple by the distributed wattage heater element, which provides an even temperature profile along the bush length, with no additional heaters being required for most polymers.

Fast Strip '38' Heaters
The Fast Strip 38 Ceramic Strip Heaters provide a dependable, versatile and efficient heat source for a wide range of applications, including: injection and extrusion dies, food tables and platens.Request a Quote Supplied by Fast Heat Ltd -
Finned Strip Heaters
Fast Heat's Ceramic Strip heater consists of a stainless steel sheath containing a high-temperature ceramic insulating a Nickel Chrome wire coil. Magnesium Oxide (MgO) is used to fill any air pockets, thus providing the best heat transfer possible. The terminals are also constructed of Stainless Steel and are securely anchored to prevent twisting out under normal conditions.Request a Quote Supplied by Fast Heat Ltd -
Flexicoil Heaters
The Flexicoil Heater's Hermetically sealed construction prevents moisture from entering the heater, resulting in very long life and long term resistance stability. The ± 3% resistance tolerance ensures excellent cavity to cavity repeatability within Hot Runner systems and is easier to control than heaters with a looser tolerance. The element's nickel sheath is much more efficient for heat transfer than the stainless steel or Inconel sheaths used by other manufacturers, which results in faster heat up.Request a Quote Supplied by Fast Heat Ltd -
Heat Transfer Paste (Infrakote)
Infra-Kote is a heat-sinking compound for improving the transfer of heat away from the heater into the application. Applying Infra-Kote over the surface of the heater fills holes and slight deformations to reduce hot spots and remove the air gap between the heater and the load. This improves the warm up time and increases the reliability of the heater. The petroleum base material used in Infra-Kote has a continuous operational temperature of 180oC (350oF). At this temperature, the compound offers both lubricating and corrosion protection. At temperatures exceeding 300oC (550oF), the solid filters take over the job of preventing seizing and galling between the surfaces.Infra-Kote is ideally suited to these applications: -Request a Quote Supplied by Fast Heat Ltd -
