When energy is applied to any point along the length of the tube, the working fluid held against the inner wall at this point is heated and quickly vaporizes. Due to the internal pressures, this vapour rapidly migrates to a cooler section of the tube where it is condensed and gives up its latent heat. After this vapour cools back to liquid, a sophisticated solid-state pump returns the condensate to the evaporator site without regard for orientation, and the cycle repeats. The end result is a rapid diffusion of temperature along the entire length of the Isobar, and the setting up of a completely isothermal condition

The Smart Junction Boxes from Fast Heat all include ATP (Active Thermocouple Protection).ATP Protects hot runner control system components against Common Mode Leakage - the short circuit phenomenon which is the leading cause of catastrophic thermocouple failure.Note: The Smart Junction Boxes are currently available wired to Fast Heat or DME wiring standards only.

The Junction Boxes from Fast Heat are available in either the long, short or NEW mini style formats.The short style is ideal for smaller tools or tools where cable access space is at a premium. The long style junction box is capable of handling a larger number of zones and can also be fitted with fuses to protect the thermocouple inputs.The mini style provides a lost cost solution for single and dual zone applications and incorporates the common HA3 connector format.Silk screening provides useful information on the recommended start up procedure of the tool and on one face a table is provided on which information relating to the wiring of the tool can be entered.

The Knuckle Band, a segmented ceramic band heater, was designed by Fast Heat to provide evenly-distributed heat on extrusion and injection moulding barrels.Best suited for low to moderate temperatures, the Knuckle Band is constructed of precision-made segmented ceramics in order to add flexibility and allow for easy installation.Knuckle bands are normally supplied with a termination box.

Fast Heat Hot Runner Manifold Systems are designed with balanced runner systems to maximise part productivity. The final design is based on process variables such as resin, shot size, gate vestige and overall system performance requirements.
