Transmission Components
With over 70 years experience in the industry you can rest assured that when it comes to transmission components we are the best in this field of expertise.
We can manufacture a host of different transmission components with our CNC with CAM/CAD cutting machine and have developed some superior components made from a variety of materials and treatments for motorsport , motor racing and for yacht racing.
Cutting Tools
At Folkard Gears Ltd we can produce and cut almost any type of gear due to our specialist gear cutting machines and cutting tools. We have 6 hobbing machines, 7 shaping machines and bevel cutting and slotting machines at our disposal.
With our gear cutting and broaching and slotting tools we can produce items like:
- Splines
- Sprockets
- Toothed pulleys
- ratchet, square, bi-square or keyway
Turning & Milling
We have CNC machines with manual turning and milling enable us to manufacture even the most complicated of parts. Recently we have acquired a Haas TL-25 twin spindle lathe and a VF-2 4th axis mill all courtesy of Rage Motorsport who we work in conjunction with to develop gearboxes for their specialist off road buggies.
