GenSet plc
Established in 1972, GenSet plc is a leading supplier of environmentally beneficial construction machinery to the global rental industry.

With environmental issues spearheading the drive to encourage the UK Construction Industry into utilising an increasing measure of sustainable equipment and materials, GenSet have set about designing and developing an expanding line of environmentally advantageous equipment, each ideally suited for the modern construction site. Examples of these products include: waterless urinals, solar powered lighting and road signs, low emission power generation and mains free site welfare facilities.

In addition, GenSet, supplies a wide range of the latest power generation equipment and state-of-the-art engine driven welding plant, together with an expanding line of contractor's pumps. They are  the UK principal dealer for Sullair air compressors.

GenSet's new, 30,000 sq ft Technical Support and Training Centre is based at the firm's HQ in Port Talbot, South Wales. The centre draws together training, maintainance, repairs and nationwide on-site service facilties, via a team of twenty in-house personnel and ten field service technicians. GenSet engineers are fully trained in both mechanical and electrical procedures up to 1MW and qualified to the Institution of Electrical Engineers (IEE) 16th Edition regulation

Proud holders of Investment in People Status, GenSet were amongst the winners in the 2007 National Business Awards and claimed a top prize in the recent International Green Apple Environment Award, organised by the Green Organisation. 

They have recently had the honour of attaining the environment management awards, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.
