Vaillant have launched their new geoTHERM mini, a wall-hung ground source heat pump that is the first and only wall-hung ground source heat pump on the market. This compact heat pump is suitable for social, new build housing and low energy homes, providing a highly efficient decentralised heating and hot water system solution.

The geoTHERM mini can be installed in a single low energy dwelling utilising a dedicated ground array or multiple units can be operated in a multi dwelling building using a common ground array. The latter ensures that generated heat is only used where required to reduce waste usually incurred when transferring energy from a shared heat pump and also negates the need of monitoring for spilt-billing purposes.
