Grace's Guide is the most comprehensive source of information on the engineering industry in Britain from the start of the Industrial Revolution to the 1960s.

This web publication contains over 100,000 pages of information and more than 140,000 images on early companies, their products and the people who designed and built them. Additions are being made to the information daily.

The Engineer and Engineering

We are the first website to digitally archive and make available online the rare and important volumes of The Engineer and it's sister publication, Engineering.

So far, you can access each weekly journal from 1856 - 1960 for The Engineer, and some early volumes (from 1866) for Engineering as well.
