An obvious choice for the role of parish council noticeboard, this board exploits the advantages of our modular construction methods which result in 3 separate, self-contained display spaces. One of the advantages of this is that by choosing different access options, the board can be used to securely display the notices of 3 separate groups of users.

Our “modular” approach to building noticeboards means that it is possible for users to put together combinations which, whilst not “mainstream”, nevertheless match their particular requirements far more closely than the boards offered by other manufacturers. Boards with one glazed, lockable bay and 2 unglazed bays are good examples of this. The balance of information to be displayed is usually, but not always, weighted towards that which is best protected behind glass. If, however, your application dictates more display area be devoted to publicly accessible information than to that posted by the key-holder, this may well be the board for you.

The T6A4P2G makes an ideal community or church noticeboard with glazed and unglazed sections that can be configured in a multitude of ways. The main image illustrates it with magnetic panels in the glazed, lockable bays and self-healing rubber pinboard in the unglazed centre bay for public notices, all topped off with a radiused header panel.

These boards are slightly out of the mainstream in that there are limited circumstances that call for large numbers of notices to be displayed in the open, but if ease of access and laminated notices are the order of the day, this one might just be for you, particularly if you have 3 separate groups of users to cater for.

The reasons for the popularity of this board are exactly the same as those pertaining to its close relative, the PT6A4P . Situations where this board might prove to be the correct choice however, arise when the addition height of the PT6AP is problematic, i.e. when the board is to wall-mounted under a window, on a sloping site where the top row of notices would be too high to read comfortably or on railings.

Whereas, once,  the village noticeboard typically housed 4 sheets of A4 in each window, nowadays, even with the proliferation of information disseminated on the web, the increased amount of statutory information that councils are obliged to display, not to mention the continuing effectiveness of physical notices in promoting events, means that 6 sheets of A4 per bay is more usual.
