This board is slightly out of the ordinary as it not many organisations that want to display all of their notices in the open but the kind of circumstances where this might provide an appropriate solution include situations where a council chooses to provide a separate, dedicated board for public notices (to reduce the strain on its own boards), or where cost constraints rule out a glazed board. Incidentally, should you change your mind later on, we can provide the necessary parts for you to convert an unglazed bay into a glazed and lockable one at any time.

The growth in the volume of statutory information that councils are now obliged to display is being reflected in a trend towards replacing life-expired noticeboards with slightly larger equivalents. This is why many councils are now investing in 2-bay, 6 x A4 boards where once a 2-bay, 4 x A4 would have sufficed. Another variant of the 2-bay 6 x A4, Man-made timber board, this one lends itself to long, low spaces such as on a wall under window openings or on railings, places where the portrait format board would not fit. Like the portrait version, it is, however, equally at home serving as a church, school or council noticeboard with the ability to display both permanent and changing information.

The D6A4/O is a rising star in the world of community noticeboards!
