An ideal noticeboard and information board for small town, in single-sided format, the AF30MD/DA11G will provide space for up to 9 sheets of A4 or their equivalent behind the lockable, plus an A1 map or interpretation panel. If choosing the double-sided version that capacity is doubled.

The modular approach that is taken in building our A-Multi range noticeboards is neatly illustrated here. As depicted in the main illustration, with a g.r.p. encapsulated information panel, this board would be very much at home in a municipal park. Swap a single element however, and it becomes equally useful as a civic noticeboard with a glazed area for council notices and unglazed space for public postings (2^nd illustration), or as a church sign/noticeboard combination (3^rd illustration).

Ideal not only for councils, churches and schools with a fair amount of information to display, the PTN is also ideal for anyone needing to allocate discreet individual spaces to different user groups. The illustration shows a parish council board with 2 bays reserved for council notices and the third, right-hand, bay made available for the display of public notices by use of the optional “T” handles, which turn the standard lock into a latch, thus in effect, allowing key-free access. No longer will the parish clerk be constantly called upon to provide the key to the village noticeboard!

This board is a real favourite with churches as it combines glazed, lockable space to accommodate up to 8 sheets of A4 or 2 x A2 posters with space for more permanent information in the (usually but not necessarily), central, unglazed area. It does this in one, very neat and compact board which enjoys conventional looks but requires none of the maintenance of a conventional timber board.

Perhaps not the most obvious or mainstream choice of boards in our range, this and similar 3-bay unglazed boards nevertheless come into their own when a number of conditions are met simultaneously. Firstly there must be a requirement for unrestricted access, secondly, ideally users must be prepared to laminate their notices and thirdly, you might choose this over another unglazed board if there were 3 separate user groups each requiring their own, defined space.

An obvious choice for the role of parish council noticeboard, this board exploits the advantages of our modular construction methods which result in 3 separate, self-contained display spaces. One of the advantages of this is that by choosing different access options, the board can be used to securely display the notices of 3 separate groups of users.

Our “modular” approach to building noticeboards means that it is possible for users to put together combinations which, whilst not “mainstream”, nevertheless match their particular requirements far more closely than the boards offered by other manufacturers. Boards with one glazed, lockable bay and 2 unglazed bays are good examples of this. The balance of information to be displayed is usually, but not always, weighted towards that which is best protected behind glass. If, however, your application dictates more display area be devoted to publicly accessible information than to that posted by the key-holder, this may well be the board for you.
