Founded in 1992 by Dr Andrew Grimley (PhD, CEng, FIChemE, MEI, ISPE) and Mr Michael Smith (MEng, CEng, FIChemE, MEI) Grimley Smith Associates Ltd is an independent multi disciplined engineering consultancy providing comprehensive engineering design and project management services to the Oil & Gas, Pharmaceutical & Biotechnology, Energy as well as the Chemical & Process Industries. GSA also have expertise in process safety, legislative compliance and sustainability.

With three offices worldwide GSA have won and delivered contracts to a high specification across the world. Following continuous growth GSA have over 260,000 annual man hours available, using over 70 engineers across a range of disciplines.
