Guyson International Limited is a privately owned family company with a world-wide reputation for excellence in the design and manufacture of blast finishing, spray wash and ultrasonic cleaning equipment. Formed over 75 years ago, the company is registered to BS EN ISO 9001: 2008 and BS OHSAS 18001:2007, and its head office is located at Skipton, North Yorkshire, in the north of England.  Guyson has four international subsidiary companies: Guyson Corporation of the USA, located in Saratoga Springs, New York State; Guyson SA, situated near Paris, France; Guyson Sdn Bhd in Penang, Malaysia; and Guyson CN, in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, China.

Blast Cleaning

Guyson blast cleaning systems are recognised worldwide as being of the highest quality. They offer a faster and safer alternative to labour intensive operations such as hand deburring, scraping and wire brushing, chemical cleaning, acid etching or dipping, liquid honing, knife trimming, sanding, grinding and many other operations.

They are ideal for component producers, reconditioners and remanufacturers seeking to replace these slower and more labour intensive methods and there are systems available to suit every application and budget .

Guyson blast cleaning and finishing equipment uses compressed air to propel blast abrasives directly at the component through an exclusively designed blast gun. These clean and safe operations are carried out in an illuminated cabinet from which dust is constantly removed and the blast media is recycled to provide a continuous and reliable cleaning and finishing system.

Guyson also manufacture an extensive range of automated blast finishing systems with which we are able to carefully match the machine to your production flow requirements. These systems are available as rotary spindle, rotary table, in-line, or as batch systems for tumble blasting small components.

Through its close cooperation with its US sister plant Guyson Corporation, Guyson International also continues to be on the cutting-edge of robot blasting technology applications, always striving to meet our customers’ demands for precision and flexibility in surface preparation, shot peening, and finishing. Ultrasonic Cleaning

The Guyson ‘Kerry’ branded ultrasonic cleaning equipment includes both aqueous and solvent systems and a range of ultrasonic generators to power them.

The 'Kerry' aqueous ultrasonic KC & MKC baths, KS tanks and UCR & CRD 2-3 stage systems, are normally used for lower volume cleaning with manual handling; Microsolve and Microclean systems are designed for higher throughputs and often automated. Kerry KST submersible transducers can be supplied with tank or retro-fitted to an existing process.

Spray Washing

Guyson also manufactures aqueous spray washing equipment for a wide variety of washing, precision cleaning, degreasing, rinsing and drying applications.

Available is a comprehensive range of aqueous spray wash equipment including Marr-Line conveyorised tunnel washers, Orbit rotary basket washers and a Formula 750 compact high impact hot aqueous spray washer designed for the workshop.

Robot Controlled Blasting

When the shapes and contours of components are complex, and the blasted surface finish is critical, a conventional automated blast system may not be able to meet all the precision component manufacturer’s quality requirements. For complex precision components and shot peening, Guyson robotically controlled blasting delivers an outstanding range of benefits. It delivers a precise blast stand off distance around the surface contour of the most complex shapes coupled with the minimum of overspray and the maximum of blast efficiency.

Guyson robotic blasting and advanced motion programming is having a dramatic impact on surface quality. Even when blasting components of the most complex shape, the correct angle, offset and surface speed are constantly maintained. Operator errors in blast gun and part manipulation can be eliminated, and the limitations of conventional automatic blast machines can be overcome, resulting in a major improvement in the degree of consistency in quality.
