Founded in 1998, Freeway Commerce Ltd is based in Preston, England and specialises in EDI and e-commerce integration and enabling applications. 

Freeway develops and markets EDI software and e-commerce system solutions to meet the needs of companies of all sizes and shapes. In addition to our best of breed EDI solutions, we offer professional consultancy services and roll-out management.

EDI normally involves the use of a secure private network known as a VAN (Value Added Network), which securely and reliably delivers information between trading partners. VAN providers include global companies such as Inovis and their Value Added Network called Inovisworks.

Inovis acquired 100 percent of the share capital of Freeway Commerce, Ltd in August 2007. Together, the companies are continuing to deliver EDI and e-commerce enabling solutions as part of the Inovis Business Community Management suite to organisations across Europe.
