The interlocking or ‘chevron’ profile helps to prevent radiation leakage through brick joints and provides a more stable structure. Our Interlocking Lead Bricks are manufactured in a range of profiles and thicknesses or to project specification

    Corrugated Chrome Plating Anodes

    Manufactured in-house and to customer specification, Chrome Plating Anodes by Heaps, Arnold & Heaps are available in 4% tin/lead and 7% tin/lead for the decorative and hard chrome plating industries. 6% antimony, silver/lead and other alloys are available.

    Chrome Plating Anodes are manufactured on our high pressure extrusion line, giving a high quality and long lasting chrome plating anode. Anode bars are manufactured in round, flat, oval, star, ribbed and corrugated profiles, and are available as solid bar, or with central copper, mild steel, or stainless steel cores. In addition, we can also manufacture chrome plating tube anodes and waffle/grid type anodes to your specification

    We manufacture a range of standard hook configurations, to suit any size or style bus bar, with a plastisol insulation as standard, although hooks can be left bare on request. Hooks can be customised to suit, with options of copper or brass material, lifting lugs/hangers and various bolting options.

    We can also take back your used Chrome Plating Anodes for refurbishment, subject to condition.

    Flat Lead Came

    Lead Came, used in the art of stained glass and leaded light design, is manufactured in the UK by Heaps, Arnold & Heaps in a vast range of profiles and sizes. The Lead Came range is split into two distinct types.

    Traditional Lead Came: Manufactured using commercially pure lead, giving a look and feel ideally suited to both restoration and new work, this type of Lead Came is sized in English imperial sizes, with flat, round and beaded leafs of 1/8” through to 1.1/4”, hearts of 1/8” through to ½”, with a standard core thickness of 1.2mm. ‘Y’, ‘U’, ‘C’ and capping sections are also available. In addition to our standard sizes, our Lead Came can also be customised using a combination of leafs, hearts and cores to suit project specification. Please call us to discuss your requirements

    European Style Lead Came: Manufactured to give the look and feel that European glaziers are accustomed to, our European Lead Came is lighter in profile, giving increased lengths per case. Available in true metric sizes, with flat, oval and beaded leafs ranging from 3mm through to 25mm, hearts of 3mm through to 12mm, and a 1.2mm standard core. ‘Y’, ‘U’, ‘C’ and capping sections are also available. European Style Lead Came is also available with a choice of material grades, soft, half-hard and hard. As with our other type of Lead Came, the range can be customised.     OUR LEAD BALLAST RANGE INCLUDES:

    Lead Ingots: With a maximum density of 11340kg/m3, lead ingots are a simple and cost effective solution to many applications requiring ballast. Available in a range of sizes or weights, lead ingots or lead bar are suitable as basic lead ballast for ship, boat and yacht keels.

    Lead Pellets: Available in a range of sizes, lead pellets are suitable for packing air space when used in conjunction with lead ingots, lead blocks, lead bar or as a standalone ballast material. Lead pellets can be used for ballasting models or filling dive weight pouches. Lead pellets can be supplied bagged in specific weights to suit customer, or in standard 20kg bags.

    Lead Blocks/Lead Bars: Cast to customer specification, ranging from grams through to several tonnes, Lead blocks and Lead bars are an ideal lead ballast solution for ship, boat and yacht keels.

    Lead ballast rod: Used in the manufacture of sub-sea umbilical systems as a ballast/filler, Lead ballast rods are available in any diameter, with or without central core. Lead ballast rod can be supplied coiled/ wound in lengths or weights to suit customer project.

    Lead Counterweights: Cast lead to customer specification, and used in applications such as the manufacture/refurbishment of passenger elevators/lifts, crane and hoist weights.

    Custom Lead Castings: Heaps, Arnold and Heaps Ltd can provide Lead ballast solutions for special projects. We can fill fabricated boxes or forms supplied by client, or can arrange boxes or forms to be fabricated and lead filled.
