Products are designed using state of the art computer aided design (CAD) systems. Using these systems fully and effectively we can apply design for manufacture techniques at the very start of the project to ensure the product is optimised for the correct manufacturing and assembly process.

Our CAD systems allow analysis of a product during the design process enabling us to check parts, assemblies and interferences long before prototyping and manufacturing occurs saving time and money. We extensively use 3D modelling for visualisation of a product providing photo-realistic images for concept sign off or marketing material.

3D product design using CAD systems allows us to liaise with rapid prototyping machines and through computer aided manufacturing (CAM) we can download our part designs directly to CNC machining centres enabling a seamless design to production transition.
