KLK Precision Engineering
Formed in 1984 KLK Precision Engineering Ltd started out primarily refurbishing sheet metal machinery but soon grew and has since become a well-known and well respected machining company. Offering a wide range of services which include CNC milling, welding, fabrication and much more; all tailored to the clients’ needs.
Here at KLK Precision Engineering, we use CNC milling which is a specific form of computer numerical controlled (CNC) machining. The acctual milling is a machining process similar to both drilling and cutting. Using this we are able produce many operations performed by cutting and drilling machines. Similar to drilling, our milling machines use a rotating cylindrical cutting tool.
A procedure or set of procedures designed to ensure that a product or service under development meets specified requirements is defined as quality assurance or quality control.
We pride ourselves in our quality control systems and have been a member of the Federation of Small Businesses for over 25 years now. We are proud to be able to say that we have even achieved The Guild of Master Craftsmen accreditation.
Here at KLK, we specialsie in metal fabrication where we build metal pieces and components by cutting, bending, and assembling processes. We use CNC methods to create your item you need using engineering drawings.
We are highly skilled in being able to fabricate a wide range of materials including steel, cast iron, brass, bronze, aluminium and plastics to meet your exact specifications.
We use welding processes to join materials by causing fusion. Whatever high quality precision component you are looking for, our expert team can help. We use welding to join a number of different materials to complete your item to your exact designs.
We offer one off prototype projects as well as small batch precision components. contact us to find out more and to discuss your requirements.
We often use grinding to finish workpieces that must show high surface quality and a high accuracy of shape and dimension. Grinding is a finishing operation and removes comparatively little metal, about 0.25 to 0.50 mm depth although it can also be used to remove high volumes of metal quite rapidly when required.
We mostly provide our services, including conventional turning, mostly to the oil and food industries. We have experience working with many different materials, including steel, cast iron, bronze, brass, aluminium and plastics. Our expert team have the knowledge and skills to provide you with the exact material for the component you require.
We will work with you from inital design right through to delivery of the final product. Get in touch with us to find out more.
