Established in 1992 by David Millar, LASERIT started out as a predominantly Laser Cutting business. This ran successfully and new premises at YATE were sought in 2000. 

The same year, LASERIT bought a state-of-the-art Bystronic Bystar 3015. This machine can cut up to 20mm Mild steel and 12mm Stainless Steel. Parts as large 3000 x 1500 can be cut on this bed. The following year, the business had grown and a new Trumpf 2530 was required. Soon we needed Brake Presses, Welder/Fabricators and much more. Part of a larger group, LASERIT can offer the services of both a Plating plant and Powder paint plant.

We have skilled coded welders and fabricators to fulfil all your sheet metal needs. The list includes such skills and processes as MIG/TIG, Gas & Brazing, Spotwelding, Tapping & Riveting, Drilling, Sawing and general benchwork.

From our CAD/CAM facilities where our Engineering Department, headed by Steve Callow, strive to offer 1st Class service, to the Despatch department ensuring that parts are packed correctly to ensure safe transit. We have achieved ISO 9001 : 2000.

But Quality means so much more.. like looking to the future and ensuring that what help can be given to produce skilled engineers that have an eye to quality are encouraged early on.

Our sister company, Metallex, provides us with an in-Group Powder Paint line and Electroless Nickel plating plant.
