Lee-Dickens Ltd

Lee-Dickens is a private limited company which was started by an ex Royal Navy engineer in 1962. It has been involved in the design and manufacture of high integrity industrial and military process monitoring and control systems ever since.

We invest time to get to know our customers and to understand their business. Because we provide outstanding solutions and pride ourselves on delivering excellent customer support we find that customers come back to us time and time again.

We have an enviable reputation for product design, innovation and quality established over a wide customer base.

Our main areas of business are:

        • Process Instrumentation & Sensors - Commercial
        • Process Instrumentation & Sensors - Military
        • Remote Monitoring Systems & SCADA
        • Cloud-Based Monitoring
        • Sub-contract Manufacturing

  1. 0% and 75% Relative Humidity Calibration Capsules

0% and 75% Relative Humidity Calibration Capsules
The Lee-Dickens range of Relative Humidity and Temperature probes, meters and transmitters can all be fitted with Calibration Capsules. The CAL CAPS will screw on in place of the sensor guard whether it be a polypropylene cage or a sintered bronze guard. The CAL CAPS contain saturated salts and simulate conditions of 0% and 75% RH. By applying these to a probe the RH output/indication can be checked in the field and if necessary adjusted. The capsules will, with careful usage, give up to 100 calibration checks. They also have a shelf life of approximately one year and can therefore be stocked for use when required.
  2. AC Current Input 2 Wire Transmitter - DC Powered - DIN Rail Mounting

AC Current Input 2 Wire Transmitter - DC Powered - DIN Rail Mounting
The APT-35L will convert a selected AC Signal into a proportional, linear and highly accurate 4 to 20mA current output signal. An internal transformer isolates the input from the output enabling the transmitter to withstand large momentary inputs. The input to output isolation, high surge current capability and high output signal-to-noise ratio makes the transmitter highly immune to ground loop signals and RFI problems. Site calibration is performed by means of Zero and Span multiturn potentiometers for fine tuning. The transmitter is equipped with a test terminal that enables the user to measure the output current without breaking the current loop. The test terminal gives a voltage output (measured across an internal 10 ohm resistor) proportional to the output current. The transmitter is housed in polycarbonate plastic enclosures suitable for mounting on DIN rail.
  3. Analogue to Frequency - Mains Powered - DIN Rail Mounting

Analogue to Frequency - Mains Powered - DIN Rail Mounting
Isolating signal converter which will convert from a selectable analogue input to a frequency output. The MicroFREQ A-F is a microprocessor based signal converter and can therefore be programmed by the user to specify the input and output frequency type and ranges. Both the input and output stages of the instruments are powered from separate secondaries of the transformer thus maintaining 3 port isolation. The MicroFREQ A-F has the programming function resident in memory.
  4. BM9432 - Dual Level Trip Amplifier - NAMUR NE43 - DC Powered - DIN Rail Mounting

BM9432 - Dual Level Trip Amplifier - NAMUR NE43 - DC Powered - DIN Rail Mounting
The BM9432 is a DIN rail mounting (TS35) Dual Level Trip Amplifier monitoring a 4 to 20mA input signal. It has two process trips and additional internal alarm relays/LEDs for "Out of Range Input" and "Power OK/Fail".
  5. BM9432 - Dual Level Trip Amplifier - NAMUR NE43 - Mains Powered - DIN Rail Mounting

BM9432 - Dual Level Trip Amplifier - NAMUR NE43 - Mains Powered - DIN Rail Mounting
The BD9432 is a DIN rail mounting (TS35) Dual Level Trip Amplifier monitoring a 4 to 20mA input signal, which can be loop powered from the BD9432. It has two process trips and additional internal alarm relays/LEDs for "Out of Range Input" and "Power OK/Fail".
  6. Digital Process Indicators

    Digital Process Indicators
A range of programmable, flexible and easy to use process indicators is available, for monitoring conditions of a wide range of inputs. Outputs can be analogue, RS232 or BCD signal output, as well as LED indicators as standard.
  7. Dual Level Trip Amplifier - DC Powered - DIN Rail Mounting

Dual Level Trip Amplifier - DC Powered - DIN Rail Mounting
Dual Level Trip Amplifier from a single process signal input. The trip action can be arranged so that the Alarm condition can be above (High Trip) or below (Low Trip) each of the set points, and that the relays can be either normally energised to de-energise in the Alarm condition (Fail-Safe), or normally de-energised to energise in the Alarm condition (Non Fail-Safe).
  8. Dual Level Trip Amplifier - Mains Powered - DIN Rail Mounting

Dual Level Trip Amplifier - Mains Powered - DIN Rail Mounting
Dual Level Trip Amplifier from a single process signal input. The trip action can be arranged so that the Alarm conditions can be above (High Trip) or below (Low Trip) the set point, and that the relays can be either normally energised to de-energise in the Alarm condition (Fail-Safe), or normally de-energised to energise in the Alarm condition (Non Fail-Safe).
  9. Dual Level Trip Amplifiers

    Dual Level Trip Amplifiers
Dual level trip amplifiers operate from a single process input, with a dual trip action which can be arranged so that the alarm conditions are triggered either above or below each of the defined set points
  10. Dual Output Isolating Signal Converter - DC Powered - DIN Rail Mounting

Dual Output Isolating Signal Converter - DC Powered - DIN Rail Mounting
Isolating signal converter which will convert a range of process signals into two independently isolated current or voltage outputs. The BM320 is ideally suited to providing signals for both local indication/control and remote monitoring and control from the one input signal. The BM320 still maintains three port isolation with the input and both output circuits powered from separate secondaries of the DC/DC converter.
