M&A Engineering is the leading UK-based specialist in global onsite machining services, in-situ machining services and line boring repairs, from routine flange facing to absolute precision turbine and marine engine line boring.

Serving the Petrochemical, Marine, Steel and General Industries with onsite machining services and hydraulic bolt tensioning services of the highest standard, M&A Engineering has a modern machine shop to cater for in-house repair and maintenance work, as well as offering a subcontract service to other engineering companies.
 

Machine Shop

M&A possesses the most extensive heavy workshop facilities in West Wales and has the ability to take work pieces up to 12 tons in weight. Our workshop is the most modern of its kind in the area, with a full range of machines suited to machining, maintenance, repair and build work for the petrochemical, energy, marine and metals industries

Fitting Bay
Six permanent work bench stations, with the provision for a further six stations during shutdown periods.

Calibration Room
Full, temperature-controlled calibration facility, complete with dimensional and profile measuring instruments and equipment. 

Machine Shop

Controlled Hydraulic Bolting

To compliment our existing in-situ and machine shop services we are able to offer a comprehensive Hydraulic Bolt Tensioning & Torquing service. All of our technicians have successfully completed training to Engineering Construction Industry Training Board (ECITB) National Skills Development Scheme (NSDS) Units PF015, PF018 & PF019 Element 6 standard.

Our equipment is 'State of the art' with safety features that are not found on earlier designs. All ANSI and API flange pressures can be easily calculated on our sophisticated software that can predict optimum joint integrity sealing loading and offer printed certificates to prove joint integrity.
