Alocrom 1200 is an iridescent (golden) chromate film that is applied to aluminium and it's alloys It has excellent corrosion resistance properties, and makes no significant thickness increase to the part. It is widely used in car body parts.

Alocrom 1200 is a rapid dip that produces a (golden) chromate film on aluminium and its alloys, it protects while having good electrical properties and is a good foundation for painting. Making it suitable for aircraft components.

Black electroless nickel is excellent for when a black finish is required but the thickness and corrosion protection is also important. The thickeness can be tightly controlled where tolerance is an issue, it is extensively used in the weighing and counting machine industry, including jaw faces and clamping plates.

Black Nickel

Black Nickel can be plated onto any metal and produces a thin jet black finish. It is suitable for applications that require a non reflective surface.

The thickness of the coating is less than 3 microns so if corrosive protection is required an undercoat of Zinc or Nickel will be necessary.

Black nickel plating results in a dense black finish onto any metal.

It is ideal for parts where a non-reflective surface is required.

Black nickel plating is lustrous and has a black colour. We use the very latest plating processes.

Black nickel is a very thin jet black finish that can be plated on to most materials, it can be put directly on to the material or as a topcoat, it has excellent absorbtion properties, which is perfect for cameras and filming equipment, i.e lens holders camera mounts etc.The process is normally sealed in De-watering oil but can be left unsealed.

Bright Tin plate is used to produce a very bright decorative finish on costume jewellery (such as brooches, chains, tie pins, rings, etc). pots, leg shields, chest plates and other memorabilia

Bright Tin plate has a very pleasing appearance, possesses remarkable corrosion resistant properties. It is easily solderable, it's uses include: contacts, pipes, plates, screws, washers, busbars and circuits, and has a exceptional shelf life. Bright Tin is used extensively in the electrical and electronic industries.

Excellent corrosion properties, thicknesses from 5 to 25 microns, suitable for anything from nuts and washers, excellent undercoat for black nickel. Perfect for parts that are subjected to severe weather conditions such as brackets, gate hinges, locks and bolts.

A rapid, non-electrolytic dip process which forms a protective coating on aluminium and its alloys.

It can have either a golden appearance as in Alocrom 1200, or a clear finish as in Alocrom 1000 which has now been discontinued and replaced by Surtec 650.

Alocrom gives good protection against corrosion and provides an excellent foundation for paint.

Chromating is a chemical process, which does not use an electrical current and results in the surface of the aluminium being converted into a chromate film.

It is electrically conductive and inexpensive to produce; it is ideal for large quantities of small items.

Its uses include general industrial work, electrical components, domestic appliances, car bodies and aircraft parts.
