MAST Carbon Advanced Products Ltd. operates from a modern purpose built factory located in the South West of England. Capable of manufacturing nearly 200,000 square metres of activated carbon cloth (also called charcoal cloth) the MCAP facility is one of the largest in the world.

Our main product line, C-Tex, was the original commercial implementation of the technology developed by the UK Ministry of Defence for manufacturing activated carbon in the form of a textile. C-Tex has been substantially developed and can now be supplied in knitted, woven or felt forms with a range of densities and surface areas.

We can offer C-Tex both in bulk roll form or converted into slit rolls, cut shapes or laminated with a variety of other materials into composite structures. We also offer impregnated grades for catalytic, chemisorption, pyrotechnic, bactericidal and other enhanced properties.

C-Tex is a very pure form of activated carbon and has very low levels of impurities compared with conventional activated carbons. We have the ability to modify both pore structure and surface chemistry to suit customer specific needs.
