Metelec were established over a decade ago as a specialised supplier of copper busbar and  alloys to the electrical industry

From our central warehouse in the Midlands we offer a stocking service second to none. This has been improved over the years with a satellite warehouse in the South East.

In 2003 Metelec was Purchased by the Gindre group who extrude upwards of 50,000 tonnes of copper semis per annum and a turnover in excess of 330 million Euros.

From our beginnings as a pure copper bar stockholder we have evolved into a complete copper alloy stockist with extensive stocks of brass, bronzes, Aluminium, Cuponal and copper in all forms.With over 1000 tonnes of non ferrous metals spread across our two warehouses the likelihood we will have what you want, when you want it is high, but should you have a requirement for any non standard sizes we have reliable mill sources that can usually supply specials on a short lead time.

In conjunction with the above we have also invested in CNC Punching and Bending facilities in the UK. Now we have the capability to produce components from Copper Aluminium and Cuponal punched and formed busbars in variable lengths, and a wide variety of Components to customers specific requirements we are able to offer the complete range of products from copper busbar to finished components offering our customers total flexibility that is necessary to compete in today's market place.

We do not operate a minimum order charge and with our own fleet of transport, backed up with overnight freight carriers we can effect stock deliveries anywhere in the UK within 24 hrs.

Quality is of paramount importance and to that end all stock items are traceable back to producer certification in accordance with BSEN ISO 9002:Pt2
