Milton Keynes Pressings LTD (MKP) are an established engineering Company supplying metal pressings and welded assemblies into many different industries. The group operates from two sites, both in Milton Keynes with a total of 95,000 sq ft. The Company’s progress has been built on supplying excellent customer service and solving engineering and manufacturing solutions whilst remaining competitive in a global market place. The disciplines and accreditations required to be a first and second tier supplier into the automotive industry are employed throughout the organization for the benefit of all other sectors that MKP supply. The Company has invested heavily over the years in Robotic plant, new presses, laser cutting and machine tools. The strong management team has a wealth of knowledge and experience to solve technical issues and guarantee the smooth introduction of new products into the plant to satisfy customer requirements. Continuous improvement has been part of the Companies culture for many years with a highly efficient kan-ban system that drives a paperless manufacturing operation through small efficient dedicated teams that accept responsibility for their quality of work. MKP are accredited to all the necessary quality and environmental standards to supply into this demanding sector.
The Company has evolved from a strong tool-making background and still has an extensive Tooling capability that has been building Press-tools, Jigs and Fixtures since the mid 1970’s.
MKP provide a medium to high volume pressings service utilising over 40 power presses ranging in size from 30 – 500 tonne capacity.
The range of presses will cope with most requirements for up to 500t and consists of:
4 coil fed lines up to 350 tonne.400 tonne double sided press served by 2 ABB Robots. 2nd operation presses incorporating light guards and hydraulic clamping.
