Opus Metrology Ltd offer a wide range of precision products and services.

Our Flat Lapping division provides a high quality precision, cost effective lapping service for a wide range of materials and components ranging from plastics to tungsten carbide. We can achieve a flatness of 0.05 micron, parallelism of 0.05 micron and a surface finish of 0.007 micron Ra depending upon material and whether it is required. Matt and reflective finishes are possible, our maximum capacity is 380mm (for round parts).

We are largest manufacturer of Tungsten Carbide and Ceramic gauge blocks in Europe.

Our 2000 sq.ft. UKAS accredited dimensional calibration laboratory offers a dimensional calibration service to other companies. We also supply a wide range of metrology equipment including monochromatic light units, optical flats etc.

Our Sub-Contract Inspection Service utilises a CNC Co-ordinate Measuring Machine to provide a product inspection service.
