Ferrite shielding materials are widely accepted as providing the simplest, most convenient and most cost-effective solution for radio frequency interference problems in cables and connectors. Furthermore, they accomplish both RF attenuation and suppression of unwanted high frequency oscillations with no loss in dc or low frequency signal strength.

Applications range from attaching a ferrite suppressor to cabling data signals to mounting rectangular ferrite plates (saddle bead) to PCB components.

In addition, RF absorber shielding materials are available for frequencies between 10MHz – 6.0GHz.

We recognise the importance of transmission line performance for maximising signal quality in high-frequency systems. Instead of matching the system to the cable, we supply custom coaxial cables to match the characteristic impedance, capacitance and attenuation requirements of the specific application. We also offer coaxial cables for more common applications that can be added to composite cable configurations.

Individually designed coaxial cables can be manufactured in a range of sizes from miniature 42 AWG PFA insulated (.33mm O.D.) to 8 AWG low-loss with expanded PTFE tape dielectric.


Flat, tubular and round braids are manufactured to standard or custom specifications.

Extensive capabilities alongside a wide selection of conductor and insulation materials allows us to offer instrumentation / test and measurement cables with characteristics such as low noise, extra flexibility and extended flex life. By using ultra-fine wire stranding technology we are able to extrude thin walls of Polyester, Polyethylene, Polyurethane, PVC, FEP, PFA and Silicone Rubber insulations.


We can supply an extensive range of custom designed medical cable including:

  • Custom Profile - Excellent for use in limited spaces where conventional round cables may not fit or where extreme flexibility is needed in a flat or specific shape.
  • Multiconductor Cable - These can be customised to your specific medical device or application requirements through the use of an extensive range of insulation, conductor and shielding materials.
  • Hybrid Cable - Cable that integrates dissimilar components to meet your unique medical requirements. By        amalgamating insulated conductors with one or several vent tubes, lumens, thermocouple leads, resistance wires and strength members, we can meet your complex configurations.
  • Parylene - Ultra flexible, sterilisable cables used in a variety of medical electronics that incorporate a slip coating without the use of irritating liquids or dusting agents. The parylene coating prevents otherwise tacky materials such as silicone rubber from collecting debris or tugging on skin, hair and fabric. The parylene grade we use offers optimum lubricity compared to other options and is an inert, biocompatible dry lubricant that resists heat, radiation, and solvents, fungus and bacteria growth. The coating is bonded to the jacket material and at 1m, it adds virtually nothing to final dimensions.
  • NEWcel Micro Miniature Coax - By using high quality low dielectric constant materials we are able to reduce the size of the cable without sacrificing its signal integrity.
  • NEWtuf Reinforced Silicone Rubber Cable - NEWtuf reinforced silicone jackets that overcome the problems of stretching, distortion or breakage after repeated wiping or physical cleaning of silicone. NEWtuf maintains their original appearance and performance after repeat handing and wiping without impacting biocompatibility, flexibility, heat resistance, sterilisation, dimensional requirements, or strippability. NEWtuf reinforced jackets provide three times the tensile strength of silicone rubber, and limit elongation distortion to a fraction of a percent.
  • NEWtral Low Noise Cable - This cable maintains signal integrity in applications where a cable experiences mechanical shock, vibration, or repeated flexing during use.
