Otto Junker GmbH

Otto Junker Edelstahlgießerei GmbH in Simmerath-Lammersdorf (20 km from Aachen) is a company focusing on special alloys. Our material programme offers you a wide range of high-alloy grades based on iron, nickel and cobalt. These materials are smelted in high-performance induction furnaces, with appropriate requirements using vacuum technology.

Corrosion-Resistant Alloys

In our portfolio you will find corrosion-resistant alloys, heat-resistant alloys, non-magnetisable alloys, wear resistant alloys and a variety of special alloys bases on nickel and cobalt.

We produce JUNKERALLOY®-nickel-based alloys as cast materials for corrosive limit strain. We have been developing and supplying many of these materials for decades. In addition to the materials shown on our website, we produce many more, about 100 varieties in total.

Moulding Material System

Our products are produced in a sand-casting process using a state-of-the-art moulding material system in the two business sectors of heavy casting and small casting. With this method, we cover a raw mass range of a few kilograms up to 9,000 kg per component. The furnace equipment also enables individual, small and series production just like our moulding facilities, with weights and item volumes depending on the moulding procedure. For roughing and finishing a large part of our casting products we are also well equipped just as for the production of components made of cast/welded construction and pre-finished systems. Our expertise lies mainly in casts in stainless steel and nickel-based alloys, but for contract processing also with other ferrous materials. In our portal milling centre sector, we additionally have extensive knowledge of aluminium processing.

Quality Management System

Our quality management system has been certified by LRQA according to DIN EN ISO 9002 since December 1994, and now also according to DIN EN ISO 9001:. 2008 with certificate no. 50058/1 in accordance with the requirements of the Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC appendix I, 4.3 and data sheet AD 2000 W0. The NORSOK licence for duplex material 5A and 6A is pending; we will shortly have the licence for material 4A. The listing for Statoil is also confirmed.

Our products are used in unprocessed, pre-finished or finished machined condition for valves, pumps, centrifuges, mixers, mills, machines for food goods, turbines, furnaces, marine technology, environmental technology, research facilities, in the semi-conductor industry, etc. For all these applications, we have extensive experience in high stress criteria and critical media.
